Linda's interest in art began at a very young age. Linda's mother enrolled her in art classes at the local cultural center which began a lifelong passion for painting. This passion was nourished in high school by an influential art teacher who encouraged Linda to enter her works in numerous art competitions. This experience in high school led to Linda's desire to pursue a career in art by continuing her art education at Kent State University and The Art Institute of Pittsburgh from which she graduated with a Graphic Arts Degree.

In 1996, Linda started LAZ Studios, Inc. After taking some time off to raise her three children, Linda began painting commercial and residential murals in Ohio, Georgia, and Florida; Linda continues to paint murals to this day. In the past five years, Linda has expanded her business to commissioned paintings and religious works of art. Linda is following in her grandfather's footsteps, Roman Weiland of Austria, a muralist who painted murals in churches and fine establishments in and around Salzburg, Austria.

Linda's strong faith in God inspires her to paint religious paintings reflective of what God has created such as nature, animals, and marine life. These gifts from God continue to be her inspiration and passion which are frequently thesubjects she enjoys painting.

Currently, Linda continues to paint murals and expands upon her collection of paintings with commissioned pieces in Ohio, Georgia, Florida, and California. She has participated in juried works such as Guitarmania and the Cleveland Orchestra whose contributions have benefited organizations such as The United Way and The Rock Hall of Cleveland. In addition, Linda's works of art have touched numerous lives through her charitable contributions to Cornerstone of Hope, along with churches and schools in the Cleveland area
